Noriko Miki (Nanao), a beautiful employee of Hinode Cosmetics, is murdered by someone. Suspicions regarding this baffling murder gradually point in the direction of a certain woman. Her name is Miki Shirono (Mao Inoue). She was employed by the company around the same time as Noriko, and is rather plain. The murder story is picked up by tabloid TV shows which is directed Yuji Akahoshi (Go Ayano), and interviews are held with various individuals who know the suspect, including co-workers, classmates, hometown acquaintances and family members.
